Microsoft and Ford to Announce Joint Development Project.

When MTV pimps your ride, it will also come with security updates

As 2007 dawns on us, automaker Ford and software powerhouse Microsoft are expected to announce plans for Windows based, in-car computers.

Sync, the title of the new line of software, cannot yet drive our cars for us, but will help drivers with their computing in important ways. Once the new Windows software is integrated into new Ford vehicles, cosumers will be able to utilize the handsfree cell phone capabilities, media downloads, automatic navigation updates and e-mail.

HD-DVD DRM copy protection broken.

Its official, the hacker known only as Muslix64 has successfully cracked the copy protection on HD-DVD called AACS. Muslix64 released the source code, as well as a video that he shot proving the concept of the decryption. Designed as a program to make back-up copies of HD-DVD movies already owned, the software is quickly picking up buzz in chat rooms, and forums across the web.

Saddam is no more.

Yes that right he has been executed.
The last moments of Saddam Hussein's have been broadcast on Iraqi state television showing the former dictator being executed by hanging at around 2pm AEDT.
